Cedar Treatment

At Garlock-French roofing we are able to install a new cedar roof as well as maintain you existing roof by replacing missing and cracked shingles or shakes as well as applying a cedar treatment. This treatment will slow down the warping and splitting that will occur to unprotected cedar due to water infiltration. Leaving a beautifully tinted, water repellent, modified surface that will resist U/V rays and the growth of moss and algae for years to come. This process can start as soon as 6 months after the installation of your new roof. CedarRenew can rejuvenate older cedar roofs extending their natural lives and significantly enhancing their appearance. It is available in either a brown or gray pigmentation. We are able to treat all types of cedar shake or shingle roofs.

This treatment process will include the removal and replacement of missing and deteriorated shakes or shingles. We will also clean the off roof debris and moss as necessary. As with all projects at Garlock-french we are dedicated to protecting your house and yard during this treatment process.
