Custom Sheet Metal

The sheet metal shop at Garlock-French Roofing Corporation fabricates a variety of specialty metal items from copper, lead-coated copper, galvanized steel, pre-finished galvanized steel, pre-finished aluminum, lead, and stainless steel.

We fabricate standard items such as valley, numerous types of flashings and counter flashings, vents, saddles, copings, and drip edges. Metal panels for standing seam and flat seamed soldered roofs are fabricated in our shop for field installation. All these items can be custom sized and shaped and fabricated from any of the metals mentioned.

Our gutters are custom fabricated to specific measurements obtained at the job site. Both the profile of the face of the gutter and the size can be altered in the customization process. Seams are mechanically fastened then soldered, so the gutters become a one-piece unit with a flange extending up onto the roof. We also fabricate single bead half round hanging gutters along with downspouts of many sizes and configurations.

Lastly, we fabricate unique specialty items for ornamental purposes. We will create items such as chimney tops, conductor boxes, ridge and turret ornaments and finials, and other items upon request.
