Today there are many different steep slope metal roof systems available. At Garlock-French we install many of them. Today there are different metals that can be used including, copper, galvanized iron, and aluminum. All of these metals also can have different finishes on them including, stone coated, painted, natural, and textured. Then there is also the choice of the shape and style including, tile, shake, laminated shingle, and vertical or horizontal panel.
A metal roof can be incorporated into an existing roof project or on an entire roof. Many new projects incorporate small dormers or entranceways to architecturally accent your home. The most important aspect of a roofing project are the details; at Garlock-French we have a sheet metal shop to custom make many of the flashings necessary to properly install your new roof.
